Alternative for revamping & new build

One purpose of P-Wave generators is to avoid manual explosion cleaning — especially in waste-to-energy plants (WtE). They are also an effective alternative to conventional boiler cleaning equipment, further reducing downtime and maintenance cost. Because pressure waves involve no physical contact, they are the least impacting for tube materials, typically reducing boiler corrosion.

Avoid manual explosion cleaning

Increase boiler service periods and inherent safety.

Alternative to hammers & rappers

Mechanical cleaning replaced by contact-free pressure waves.

Alternative to soot-blowers

Effective in open passes, superheater bundles and economizers.

Reduce superheater inlet temperature

Avoid open-pass boiler fouling and stabilise temperatures.

Easily implemented

Designed for easy integration, the generators can be installed on existing boiler access doors such as manholes. This makes revamping straightforward in most boiler configurations, including open radiation and convection passes in vertical and horizontal arrangements. For boiler widths up to 12 m, installation on one side only is sufficient.

  • P-Wave generator — compact, 1.2 m from boiler wall, 275 kg
  • Control cabinet and valve board
  • Propane bottle
  • Compressor, air tanks and central pressure reduction boards

Space requirement

P-Wave generators are particularly well suited for new boilers. The space required is only 1.2 m from the boiler membrane wall — and for boilers up to 12 m, only on one side. Customers appreciate the universality of the system: performant in open passes, superheater bundles and economizers.
